FAQ is here to help!

Here are some of our most RoseCraft Blades most frequently asked questions.

RoseCraft Blades offers real time shipping options and rates to your location via USPS. Rates may vary based on where you are located. The shipping rates we provide try to reflect the rate we would pay to ship your order to your specific location.

PROCESSING

Please allow up to two (2) business days to process and pack your order. Please refer to the USPS shipping estimates chart for estimated delivery times. Some orders may take longer to arrive based on your shipping address. We appreciate your patience.

Please note that “Priority Mail” only refers to the service provided by the USPS. It does not mean that your order will be processed more quickly than other orders. It simply references the speed at which the USPS delivers the package after it is received.

FREE SHIPPING

RoseCraft Blades offers Free Domestic Shipping on most orders of $85 or more. Free shipping will become an option at checkout, once your cart subtotal reaches or surpasses $85. Offer is not valid on international orders and may not be valid with some coupon codes. The free shipping method is standard USPS Ground Advantage Shipping, not Priority Mail.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We do currently ship to Canada and the UK via USPS international service. Some items are not allowed to be shipped to Canada and/or the UK and will not be available for purchase.

SHIPPING ISSUES

If your order is damaged or does not arrive, please send an email to rcb@rosecraftblades.com or use the Contact Form at the bottom of this page.  Please write the word “LOST” in the subject line of your email and provide as much information (e.g., name, contact info, order number, etc.) as possible in the body of that email. Every completed order should receive a confirmation/tracking email. It will be sent to the email address you used for the order.

If you don’t see that email in your inbox, it is likely that your email software automatically pushed it to a spam/junk folder.  Check those folders carefully, and then set up a rule of emails from us. You’ll never have to do it again.

RPM9 stands for Rare Powdered Material 9. Powdered metallurgy became popular in the knife world with S30V steel and is still associated with higher-end steels. RPM9 steel is high performance due to the powdered metal process that creates a fine grain structure that holds an edge well, sharpens beautifully, and prevents corrosion. It performs somewhere between D2 and 14C28N steels, and it holds up to the rigors of regular use and will excel in adverse conditions.

RoseCraft Blades sources the best materials and manufacturers from around the world to produce its knives and plans to build a manufacturing facility in the USA in the future. Country of origin may always be found in the Additional Information tab on any product page.

The RoseCraft Blades tag line is “Be sharp. Stay Sharp.” In that vein, RoseCraft knives are designed for the specific purpose of cutting. While some of our knives offer specific non-knife tools such as a pry or cap lifter, our knife blades should never be used as a pry bar, a chisel, a screwdriver, or for any other unintended purpose. Misuse of your knife may void our Lifetime Warranty.

By purchasing a RoseCraft Blades knife/product the buyer assumes all responsibility in knowing and following all federal, state, local, and international laws concerning the ownership, possession, usage, shipment, or transport of any RoseCraft Blades product. The buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RoseCraft Blades for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from purchase, transport, ownership, or any use of RoseCraft Blades products in violation of state, local, federal, or international laws or regulations. RoseCraft Blades is not liable for any misuse of any RoseCraft Blades products purchased either directly from RoseCraft Blades or from a dealer/distributor.

We’ve added a warning label in compliance with California Proposition 65, a law enacted in 1986. This regulation ensures that California consumers are informed about potential risks associated with certain chemicals in products.

Have the materials or construction of RoseCraft knives changed?

Not at all! The construction of our knives remains consistent, and no new chemicals have been introduced in the manufacturing process. We’re still delivering the same high-quality products you know and love.

What specific chemicals are covered by Proposition 65 that prompted the warning label?

Proposition 65 includes substances like lead in brass and chromium in stainless steel, both of which are naturally present in our knives. The warning label is a precautionary measure to keep you informed about these elements.

Is Proposition 65 only applicable in California?

Yes, it is a California regulation. However, to ensure transparency and compliance, we have chosen to apply the warning label to all our products, regardless of their destination.

How does this impact customers outside of California?

While Proposition 65 is specific to California, our decision to include the warning label on all products ensures consistency and saves the hassle of predicting where our knives will be sold.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need further clarification. We appreciate your understanding and continued support!
