The RoseCraft Blades Briarpatch Jack is based on a traditional cigar pattern. This two-bladed slip joint features a 3.2″ D2 clip point blade at one end and a 3.1″ D2 lambfoot blade at the other, both with heavy swedging, half stops, and brushed satin finishes. The covers are Smoky Gray Bone, with brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, nickel silver pins, and the stainless steel RoseBud shield. It’s 4″ closed, 7.2″ overall (main blade open), and weighs just 4.2oz. Designed by Andy Armstrong.

Absolutely beautiful knife!! When I got it out of the box, I couldn’t believe the bone handles…the fit of the shield and the beautiful blades…a real looker. Mechanically: it is well made 99.5% fit and finish ( I am supe picky) the walk
and talk is sufficient, but I would have liked more “gator snap” on close on both blade…a personal preference of course!
the blades are wonderfully ground and dead on centered….I love these sort of thin blades….will make an excellent tool to do finer cutting jobs!!! The half stop is a must and works great. If ya all see Andy around….tell him he earned his lunch on that one!!! I am impressed…. lastly, the price point is getting to hit a redline for me, being not USA made….so let’s be aware of that fact….the “other” Knife company close to ya all does that now too and lots of sales where lost…! I do understand cost, sales and profit…just saying.
Looking forward to the next great knife….the Sheffield one blade Jack….
keep it up, but keep it sharp
