The RoseCraft Blades Buffalo River Jack Bora Bora Blue features a 2.9″ D2 Clip Point blade with a brushed satin finish. It’s 2.7mm thick and has a half stop and heavy swedging. This one-bladed traditional slip joint features brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and the Rose Bomb shield. The covers are genuine Bora Bora Blue Bone. It’s 3.75″ closed, 6.6″ overall, and weighs 2.9oz. Designed by Andy Armstrong.
A note about RoseCraft’s bone handles: Bone is a natural handle material that varies in texture, pattern, and natural coloring. Every bone handled knife will look different, because bone isn’t identical. At RoseCraft, we don’t use dye to cover up what we think is the natural beauty of the bone in the handle. We use it to accentuate that natural beauty, and you’re going to see a lot of that gorgeous natural texture and pattern that is in your unique bone-handled knife. We love it, and hope you do too.

The blue bone handle is beautiful and I really like the overall looks of the design.
The blade edge is very sharp right out of the box, and the point is needle sharp!
The pull to open the blade is just right for me; not so hard where you feel like you will loose a finger nail.
The D2 steel has a nice appearance that hasn’t changed when cutting fruit such as limes and apples. I understand it isn’t a stainless steel, but so far it sure seems like it.
It also handled cleaning up fruit tree pruning cuts just fine, with nice thin shaving of both dead and live wood (although the blade shape is not really designed for that job).
