Hand JiggedA note about RoseCraft’s bone handles: Bone is a natural handle material that varies in texture, pattern, and natural coloring. Every bone handled knife will look different, because bone isn’t identical. At RoseCraft, we don’t use dye to cover up what we think is the natural beauty of the bone in the handle. We use it to accentuate that natural beauty, and this may cause lighter or darker areas where the bone is hafted into the front bolster. This is part of what makes your knife unique. We love it and hope you do too.

  1. Jimmie –

So, yeah, this is a magnificent knife. I obviously didn’t buy it here since it’s a vendor exclusive, but…

This is my first Rosecraft and somehow, they’ve absolutely nailed it. It’s actually perfect. No gaps, snappy spring, sharp edge, blade is centered…

It’s one of those rare occasions where my expectations were blown way out of proportion by what I received. No joke, I think I laughed like a child for 10 minutes straight when I unboxed this knife and felt how obscenely well made this knife is.

If you’re like me, you’ve been burned by pin construction knives before. Gaps, sloppy spring, loose blades… for the first time in my life I felt a pinned knife that was structurally sound out of the box. It’s like the modern update slipjoints so desperately needed. Steel liners, modern blade steel, and immaculate bone work.

I honestly cannot believe the amount of knife I’ve recieved for $65. Sure, it’s not a “modern” knife with bearings and a snappy opening with one simple flick, but hell… it’s a gorgeous, sturdy, well built knife. I’ve spent double this amount on slip joints and have felt disappointed. I wish I could upload photos to demonstrate just how flawless thia knife really is. It’s the first knife I’ve bought in decades that I’ve marvelled at for more than 20 minutes straight after I opened it.

Bravo, Rosecraft. I’ve ordered several more already. I’m a firm believer in this brand after one purchase.
