RoseCraft Blades Clinch River Swayback Smoky Gray Bone RCT005-GY

$54.99

Blade Show 2023 Imported Knife of the Year

New Tang Stamp! The RoseCraft Blades Clinch River Swayback is based on the popular traditional Swayback pattern but offers a finger choil that is cut partly from the blade and partly from the bolster. This one-bladed slip joint features a 3.125” D2 Steel Wharncliffe blade with a half stop and a brushed satin finish. The covers are Smoky Gray Bone with steel liners, nickel silver pins, a Steel Rosebud Shield, and brushed steel bolsters. It’s 4” closed and 7.125” fully open. Designed by Andy Armstrong.

A note about RoseCraft’s bone handles: Bone is a natural handle material that varies in texture, pattern, and natural coloring. Every bone handled knife will look different, because bone isn’t identical. At RoseCraft, we don’t use dye to cover up what we think is the natural beauty of the bone in the handle. We use it to accentuate that natural beauty, and you’re going to see a lot of that gorgeous natural texture and pattern that is in your unique bone-handled knife. We love it, and hope you do too.

I just wanted to drop a few lines and say I absolutely enjoy the traditional clinch river swayback in Smokey gray, it is a beautiful knife and also the little river skinner I bought from you guys. I am blown away by the high quality of these knives at a good price. The knives feel substantial in hand and inspires confidence in knowing you have a good solid knife in hand to complete your task. I like traditional knives and have bought several over the past couple years but yours are my favorite by far, the fit and finish are stunning on em. I definitely appreciate the knives and will be a returning customer. I got my eye on the Appalachian Jack and the Loosahatchie jack when they come back in stock. Probably gonna have to pick up the Zambezi too. Just wanted to reach out and say good job guys! I really like the knives and look forward to what you have coming out in the future.

Andy Armstrong’s designs are grounded in tradition, cutting edge, and very functional. This is one of 4 RoseCraft knives I own and I am blown away by the quality of each. Its extremely encouraging in a day and age were we are now having to purchase knives over the internet site unseen. It is apparent that RoseCraft is investing in QC when a lot of others are obviously not. As for this particular knife, the bone is exquisite, it is very comfortable in hand and fit and finish could not be better. Thanks Andy for keeping the craft of traditional slipjoints alive and thriving!!

Got my Clinch River Swayback in the mail today and it is a great knife.Quality and finish is as good as the knives they are asking $150-$500 for.I collect folding knives and really am pleased with this one.I ordered another model as soon as I checked this one out.Hope you get a factory set up in the USA.Can’t wait to get the Ocoee River Kayak I ordered.

I have both the grey bone and the bourbon bone models. Their build quality is exceptional. One of the features that I enjoy the most is the way you can choke up on the blade with your index finger or for added point control I use my middle finger in the choral and place my index finger on the spine of the blade. Both of these beautiful knives came incredibly sharp.
