This pattern style (bourbon bone with dragon scales) has been moved to the RoseCraft Vault. It is no longer available.

2.875″ D2 Clip Point Blade. 2.7mm thick. Brushed satin finish. Half stop. Slip joint. Brushed steel bolsters. Steel liners. Steel RoseBud Shield. Bourbon Bone with Dragon Scale Jigging. 3.625″ closed. 6.5″ overall. Weighs 3.1oz. Designed by Andy Armstrong.

A note about RoseCraft’s bone handles: Bone is a natural handle material that varies in texture, pattern, and natural coloring. Every bone handled knife will look different, because bone isn’t identical. At RoseCraft, we don’t use dye to cover up what we think is the natural beauty of the bone in the handle. We use it to accentuate that natural beauty, and you’re going to see a lot of that gorgeous natural texture and pattern that is in your unique bone-handled knife. We love it, and hope you do too.

I’ve had the knife in my grubby mitts for only an hour, but I can already tell you it’s going to be in pocket a lot. It’s a beauty, and the fit and finish are great. I like the size…just right. This is my fourth RoseCraft “traditional” and it might be my favorite, although I use the Appalachian Jack on a daily basis. I look forward to future releases!

Perfect in all aspects! Nuff said.

First off let me say this is one heck of a knife. For the price point you can’t beat this. The fit and finish on mine is nice and flush! The action is perfect! And the size fits my hand just nicely. If I could give one recommendation it would be for the long pull on the blade to be cut a little deeper into the blade. The long pull is hard for my nail to catch on but the blade sticks out just enough where I can pinch it open with two fingers. So no problems here just a recommendation.

The Loosahatchie I received is probably one of the best knives I’ve purchased online – exceptional quality. I’ve since purchased the Beaver Creek Barlow from Rosecraft and the Appalacian Jack from TPK and both are excellent. Looking forward to future releases.

    Absolutely FANTASTIC!
I love what Andy and Swaggs and the crew is doing at RCB and I’m a fan and a loyal customer for life.

I think the modern interpretations of traditional patterns are awesome.
But I also love that the covers are bone, rather than burlap micarta or G-10, because it’s a traditional cover material.
A perfect balance of traditional and modern in my opinion.

I have the Loosahatchie Jack, Zambezi, Ocoee River Kayak, and Beaver Creek Barlow.
I will be purchasing the upcoming Clinch River Swayback and all the other designs as well.

Fit and finish is exceptional on all of them.
    No gaps.
    No proud pins or shields.
    Smooth transitions.
    Great medium pull.
    Walk and talk is awesome.
    Excellent blade grind and finish.
    Wonderful ergonomics.
Just wonderfully crafted all the way around.

    Fantastic value for the money.
I can’t say enough about RoseCraft Blades.
Buy one, or buy them all.
    Do it now.
    You’ll be glad you did!!

Folks, I could not get a hold of one of these while they were in stock but, I did get a second. The second is probably better than most of my other knives from reputable companies. I am quite pleased with this one. Rosecraft continues to knock it out of the park !!

I couldn’t get this knife on the first run and was able to get my Loosahatchie Jack knife on its second run. Unfortunately my knife was defective (I couldn’t open the blade except with a plier) and Andy sent me a new one, no questions asked. I really love this knife because of the unusual design on the scales and the orange color of the scales. My only wish would be to have scales be more orange in color and reduce the black cast. The blade is very sharp, there are no gaps, and this slipjoint has a strong snap when fully opened.

I’ve wanted a barlow knife for a long while and can say I am extaticly impressed with the quality of this knife. The fit and finish are second to none. I have a new pocket rider. Thanks Rose craft blades.

I have 5 of your traditional knives just purchased the Loosahatchie Barlow. Had to get a second missed it first go around but I consider this a first in my opinion. Great knife at a fair price a not common in todays market. Reminds me of the old Case Barlow with the xx patterns on the scales but, much better made. Much obliged.😻
